We invite all sailors and coaches to train at the official venue of the 2027 Optimist World Championship: a unique chance to prepare and race on the same waters that will host the world's best young sailors.
Our calendar combines clinics and regattas. Clinics focus on speed, boat handling and starts; regattas put strategy and tactics to the test in real racing conditions.
Every event is open to sailors from any country or team. We look forward to welcoming teams from all around the globe.
The venue
Marina Rubicón, Lanzarote
A sheltered harbour with challenging, reliable conditions: an ideal place to train and race. Most of the Olympic medallists at recent Games have trained here for several seasons.
