Ocean Sailing on the road to 2027 Worlds in
Lanzarote, Canary Islands
We extend this invitation to all sailors & coaches who would like to train at the official venue of the 2027 Optimist World Championship. This is a unique opportunity for sailors to prepare and compete in the same racing area that will host the world’s best young athletes in 2027.
Our calendar offers a structured combination of clinic and regatta formats, designed to expand sailors’ knowledge both on and off the water. The training sessions will focus on technical aspects, both for speed & boat handling, as well as starting drills. While the regattas will provide the perfect environment to apply strategy and tactics in real racing conditions.
All clinics & regattas are open events, welcoming sailors from any country or team who wish to participate. We look forward to host teams from all around the globe.
Dinghycoach Sailing Center is also open to teams wishing to organize their own training camps. Coaches & Sailors are welcome to attend with their own training team. Boat charter services are available, including Optimist and coach boats.
Marina Rubicón offers outstanding facilities for high-performance training, including modern infrastructure, easy launching areas, secure boat storage, meeting rooms, and full technical support. Its sheltered harbor, the challenging and reliable sailing conditions, make it an ideal environment for training & racing. The majority of Olympic medallists in the past Games have trained at our venue for several seasons.
