Steven has sailed on a high level in Junior and Olympic classes. He started coaching in early 2014 and became passionate about developing athletes on every aspect of the sport, seeing them grow both as athletes and humans. skilling them for everything that life brings.
For Steven, sailing is the ultimate environment to grow and develop both himself as well as the athletes he is working with. Over the past 8 years he has grown himself to an expert within the ILCA class, working mainly withint he Dutch Sailing Federation with athletes on the highest level and coaching at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
